<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a starter 1, in which the weight of the starter 1 can be supported, and when mounting and dismounting the starter 1, the starter 1 can be mounted and dismounted without being much moved backward. <P>SOLUTION: A hook 10 for temporarily fixing the starter 1 is attached to a housing 6 of the starter 1. A transmission case 7 is provided with a projection 14 at a position vertically above the center of a spigot joint hole 8a. After a spigot joint portion 6b of the housing 6 is fitted to the spigot joint hole 8a and rotated to a predetermined position, and when the starter 1 as a whole tilts by its weight, the hook 10 engages with the projection 14 to temporarily fix the starter 1. Thereby, as the hook 10 engages with the projection 14, the spigot joint portion 6b is prevented from being pulled out to fall from the spigot joint hole 8a until the starter 1 is fixed to the transmission case 7 with a mounting bolt 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
