<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device for vehicle capable of presenting the location of sea to a user when a tsunami warning is issued and enabling the user to evacuate in an appropriate direction. <P>SOLUTION: A navigation device for vehicle includes: a current position detection part for detecting a current position of a vehicle; a map information storage part for storing map information which includes sea area information; a display part for displaying a map image based on the current position information and the map information; a sea area detection part for detecting the nearest sea area from the current position on the basis of the sea area information; a tsunami information receiving part for receiving tsunami information; and a scale changing part which changes the scale of the map image when the tsunami information is received, in such a manner that the current position and the detected sea area are displayed in the display part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
