<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor cycle comprising a guard member which effectively protects a motor built in a power unit. <P>SOLUTION: In an electric motorcycle comprising a power unit configured by housing a motor within a case 50, the motor is arranged so that its revolving shaft may be oriented in a vehicle width direction and protruded from one side surface PR of the case 50 in the vehicle width direction. The electric motorcycle further includes: a bottomed cylindrical motor cover 36 which is mounted on the one side surface PR of the case 50 while covering a protruding portion of the motor; a motor guard 37 which is mounted from the vehicle body front side of the motor cover 36 to the vehicle body lower side so as to be erected from the one side surface PR of the case 50, and a heel guard 34 which is disposed at a position at the vehicle body rear side of the motor cover 36 and between an end face of the motor cover 36 in the vehicle width direction and the one side surface PR of the case 50.
