<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce costs of a clinical electronic thermometer manufacturing process. <P>SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for clinical electronic thermometers comprises a step of mounting a circuit to which a thermistor for temperature measurement is connected over a substrate; a step of inserting the substrate into a body case and fixing the thermistor within a metal cap; a step of soaking at least the whole of the metal cap in water in a constant-temperature bath; a step of determining whether or not a calibration value for use in temperature measurement has already been calculated; and a step of calculating, if the calibration value is determined not to have been calculated, the calibration value on the basis of the result of the temperature measurement in a state in which the whole of the metal cap is soaked in water in the constant-temperature bath and storing the value into memory means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
