<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient electric air blower by improving reliability by reducing the axial run-out, vibration and noise of an impeller when rotating the impeller at a high speed. <P>SOLUTION: A rotary shaft 2 is provided with the impeller 12 having a front shroud 12b and a rear shroud 12a, a blade 12c sandwiched between the pair of shrouds and an inducer 12d joined to the suction port side of the blade 12c and sandwiched between the pair of shrouds. The impeller 12 is provided with a cylindrical spacer 12e for fixing the rotary shaft 2 in a hub 12f for constituting a base of the inducer 12d. The cylindrical spacer 12e can prevent the co-rotation of the impeller 12 by being penetratingly arranged in the rear shroud 12a, and arranging at least one plane opposed to the rotary shaft 2, can cope with abrupt acceleration-deceleration operation, and the axial run-out of the impeller 12 is restrained.
