ITEM SELECTION DEVICE, ITEM SELECTION METHOD, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an item selection device capable of properly improving operability in item selection.

SOLUTION: A storage unit 110 stores information on layers of menus and items (such as a command) included in each menu. A display unit 120 displays a game image including the menu and the like. A position reception unit 130 receives a touch position on a screen through a touch panel. A selection unit 140 selects one item from the menu on the basis of the received touch position. When any item is selected from an upper-layer menu by touch operation, a display control unit 150 displays a lower-layer menu so that an item recommended in the lower-layer menu overlaps with the touch position.
