<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a user recognize a time without displaying a clock during the operation of a slide show. <P>SOLUTION: In a step S105, a present time is acquired, hour is expressed by h, and minute is expressed by m. In a step S106, a fan-shaped region ranging from an angle (30×h) clockwise to an angle (30×h+t1) around the center of gravity of a display area is determined as a display area. In a step S107, an hour display image set as a monochrome image is created in the display area. In a step S108, the hour display image is displayed in a display panel. Similarly, in a step S111, a fan-shaped region ranging from an angle (6×m) clockwise to an angle (6×m+t2) around the center of gravity of the display area is determined as a color area. In a step S112, a minute display image with the inside of the color area set as a color image is created.
