<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display system that exhibits various visual effects by means of an irregular projection surface, and to provide an image display device and a control method of the image display system. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing part determines a region to which a pixel to be processed belongs, on the basis of region information stored in an LUT (step S201), sets a pixel value of the pixel belonging to an outer edge to a pixel value indicative of black (step S202), sets a pixel value of the pixel belonging to a frame part to a pixel value indicative of a predetermined color (specified color) (step S203), and sets a pixel value of the pixel belonging to a rectangular part to a pixel value indicative of an input image (step S204).
