<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve reduction of a vehicle weight and high strength/high rigidity of a vehicle body by using a super-high tensile strength steel plate having improved press formability as well as reduction in the number of man-hours for assembly, high precision and ease of assembly by reducing the number of parts used. <P>SOLUTION: The skeleton member includes a bent part 11 of U shape in cross part in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle body and a pair of front and rear linear extension parts 12, 13 that extend in a substantially linear manner from both ends of the bent part 11 in the longitudinal direction of vehicle body front and rear. The bent part 11 is divided into both linear extension parts 12, 13 with both the ends of vehicle body front and rear formed into linear terminal part. With both linear terminal parts 11-1, 11-2 and terminal parts of both linear extension parts 12, 13 overlapped one another, both linear terminal parts 11-1, 11-2 and the terminal parts of both linear extension parts 12, 13 are formed as one body. A reinforcement 14 is bridged over the front linear extension part 12 and the bent part 11 to be overlapped, and a flange-like reinforcement side junction part 14a mounted on the reinforcement 14 is joined to the bent part 11 and the front linear extension part 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
