<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a glass substrate which is suitable for suppressing film exfoliation at a boundary portion between a chamfering portion and a main surface portion by improving fracture resistance at the chamfering portion. <P>SOLUTION: This glass substrate, which is a glass substrate having a chamfering portion between a main surface portion and an end surface portion, includes a plurality of recessed parts formed at least on the end surface portion and the chamfering portion, wherein each of the plurality of recessed parts has a width in the plane direction of 10 to 200 nm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
