<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information input device that negates the need of carrying a keyboard and a mouse and can be used without giving a restraining feeling to a user. <P>SOLUTION: An information input device 100 comprises: a far-infrared camera 10 for imaging a temperature distribution image of an information input medium surface; an information extraction section 21 for extracting locus information of a temperature change of the information input medium surface from the temperature distribution image; and an information recognition section 22 for recognizing input information on the basis of the locus information of the temperature change. In order to extract the locus information of the temperature change from the temperature distribution image, to integrate the locus information of the temperature change and to recognize the locus information integrated as the input information, input of information can be performed by changing a surface temperature of any medium by a portion and an image corresponding to the information intended to be input. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
