<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a development device capable of suppressing formation of a magnetic circuit between one developer holding body and the other developer holding body through a guide member for guiding a developer peeled from the one developer holding body to a conveyance part. <P>SOLUTION: A development device comprises: a plurality of developer holding bodies 105 and 106 that are arranged one above the other to face an image holding body 15, and each have a magnetic roll with a plurality of magnetic poles magnetized therein; a conveyance member 126 for conveying developer held in the plurality of developer holding bodies; a guide member 130 that guides the developer peeled from one of the plurality of developer holding bodies that is arranged in a relatively upper position to the conveyance member, and has a surface with a nonmagnetic material in contact with at least the developer; and a magnetic circuit suppression member 140 that is arranged on the side opposite to the surface of the guide member in contact with the developer, and is formed of a magnetic material for suppressing formation of a magnetic circuit passing through the guide member between the developer holding body arranged in a relatively upper position and an adjacent developer holding body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
