BASE STATION DEVICE, HANDOVER CONTROL METHOD, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce processes of a switching station when handover takes place from or to a cell covered by a relay station device.

SOLUTION: A base station device 2 includes a control unit 10 which performs: transmitting/receiving a handover control signal according to a first protocol for transmitting/receiving a handover control signal via inter-base station connection; transmitting/receiving a handover control signal according to a second protocol for transmitting/receiving a handover control signal via a switching station device 8; converting a handover control signal based on the second protocol to be transmitted/received between the base station device 2 and a relay station device 5 connecting to the base station device 2 into a handover control signal based on the first protocol; and transmitting the converted handover control signal according to the first protocol.
