<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for a photoelectric conversion element in which the substrate can efficiently diffuse an alkali metal to a photoelectric conversion semiconductor layer and can improve the photoelectric conversion efficiency of the photoelectric conversion element while controlling liberation and diffusion of the alkali metal from an alkali supply layer to suppress the formation of impurities on the surface of the alkali supply layer, an electrode interface, and the surface of an electrode. <P>SOLUTION: A substrate 10 for a photoelectric conversion element includes an alkali metal silicate layer 3 on a substrate 2, and includes a diffusion adjusting layer 4 which does not substantially contain alkali metal on the alkali metal silicate layer 3 and adjusts the diffusion of the alkali metal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
