<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle approach notification device which allows a driver to set radiation direction of approach notification sound that accompanies left/right turn of a vehicle, with ease and with less burden. <P>SOLUTION: A sound which notifies approach of an own vehicle is radiated from a left speaker (SPL) and a right speaker (SPR) at a front end of a vehicle (C). A control part (2) is provided which performs control as follows. Under such condition as both right and left of a direction indicators (3) are in OFF state, the left speaker is applied with a first voltage (a1) and the right speaker is applied with a second voltage (a2), to radiate sound. Under such condition as the left side of the direction indicator (3) is ON state, the left speaker is applied with a third voltage (b1) to radiate sound, with the third voltage (b1) being higher than the first voltage (a1) while lower than the total of the first voltage (a1) and the second voltage (a2). Under such condition as the right side of the direction indicator (3) is ON state, the right speaker is applied with a third voltage (b2) to radiate sound, with the third voltage (b2) being higher than the second voltage (a2) while lower than the total of the first voltage (a1) and the second voltage (a2). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
