<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economically excellent temperature controller for warming capable of ensuring the line short circuit protective function reliably even if a capacitor input type power supply is utilized, ensuring high safety by suppressing power consumption of the temperature controller itself, and capable of using inexpensive components. <P>SOLUTION: When the N pole side of an AC power supply is in the positive half cycle, a capacitor Cf is in the charging period and since only a voltage equal to the forward voltage drop of a diode Df is applied to the input side of a rectifier circuit, the current hardly flow through a heating resistor RF1 with an integrated temperature fuse, and thereby heating does not occur. But since the capacitor Cf is charged with a half wave of AC 100V when viewed from the AC power supply side, AC 100V of half wave is applied, in synchronism therewith, to a line short circuit protective path connecting the N pole and the H pole of the AC power supply while passing through a heating wire 2, a polymer layer 3 and a temperature detection wire 4, thus maintaining the protective function. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
