RUDDER ARRANGEMENT FOR SHIPS WITH HIGHER SPEEDS WITH A CAVITATION REDUCING TWISTED RUDDER, IN PARTICULAR WITH A FULL-BALANCED RUDDER

PURPOSE: A rudder device for a high-speed ship with a twist type full-balanced rudder to reduce cavitation is provided to enable the outbalancing of a rudder blade without consuming additional power. CONSTITUTION: A rudder device for a high-speed ship comprises a full-balanced rudder blade(100) and a rudder post(140). The full-balanced rudder blade has one or more bearings. The rudder blade is formed of two laminated rudder blade parts(10,20). Leading edges(11,21) facing a propeller(15) are inclined to one of a starboard and a port board.
