<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic clutch capable of shortening the overall length of an automatic transmission. <P>SOLUTION: The hydraulic clutch comprises (a) a first coupling hub, (b) a transmission case, (c) an inner sleeve, (d) a boss, (e) an outer sleeve, (f) a clutch drum, (g) a second coupling hub, (h) a first piston which forms a first piston chamber and operates with oil pressure input to the first piston chamber, (i) a first clutch plate, (j) a first friction disk mounted on a first clutch hub, (k) a first balance wall forming a first balance chamber, (l) a second piston forming a second piston chamber and operating with oil pressure input to the second piston chamber, (m) a second clutch plate, (n) a second friction disk mounted on a second clutch hub, and (o) a second balance wall forming a second balance chamber.
