<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame for a free access floor which allows installation of heavy equipment on an upper part without amplifying vibrations from a floor, facilitates installation and construction, and facilitates horizontal adjustment of an upper plate while securing rigidity. <P>SOLUTION: Near four corners of an upper surface of an upper frame 39, upper blocks 45a and 45b are piled up and provided. The upper blocks 45a and 45b are planar members in the almost same shape, respectively. On an upper part of the upper block 45b, an upper plate 53 is provided, and since the upper blocks 45a and 45b are planar, the upper blocks 45a and 45b with each other and the upper plate 53 can be brought into surface contact. Also, a spacer may be provided on a part of upper and lower parts of the upper block 45a or the upper block 45b as needed.
