<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need to use an exclusive button for stopping a direction indicator and the need for a driver to remember the button. <P>SOLUTION: The flasher switch for a vehicle includes a push type right turn button 11 and a left turn button 12. A control section 15 for direction indicator is included for controlling the action of a direction indicator 8 based on the operated state of the right turn button 11 and the left turn button 12. The control section 15 has the direction indicator 8 activated to indicate the same direction as these operation buttons 11, 12 when an operation for release by pushing the right turn button 11 or the left turn button 12 is only carried out once within a determined period.
