<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data reception device, data reception method, data transmission device, and data transmission method that hardly cause communication interruption due to communication path switching even if difference in delay time on a plurality of communication paths has increased. <P>SOLUTION: A data reception device 200 comprises: a reception circuit 219 for receiving optical signals indicating loss-correction encoded data from a 0 system and a 1 system; and a selector 280 for switching data to be obtained from 0-system data represented by an optical signal received from the 0 system to 1-system data represented by an optical signal received from the 1 system. In addition, the data reception device 200 comprises a loss-correction decoding circuit 290 which corrects data loss by decoding 0-system acquisition data, which is 0-system data obtained before switching, and 1-system acquisition data, which is 1-system data obtained after switching. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
