<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid an interruption of subject detection processing due to increase of processing load, when detecting a subject while storing image data of a subject. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging device includes a storing interface part 112 for storing processing of image data of a subject obtained by an imaging element 103, and a subject analysis part 114 for subject detection processing by analyzing image data of the subject. A first memory 121 stores image data and data used for the storing processing and subject detection processing. A second memory 122 provides a load distribution memory function, for storing data used by the subject analysis part 114 for the subject detection processing. If a processing load during the storing process becomes larger than a threshold value, a power control part 119 causes the second memory to operate via a second memory control part 120 for enabling an access by the subject analysis part, and if the processing load during the storing processing becomes smaller than the threshold value, the second memory is disabled and the subject analysis part accesses the first memory. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
