FILE NAME CREATION APPARATUS AND FILE NAME CREATION PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a file name creation apparatus and a file name creation program for creating appropriate file names.

SOLUTION: An MFP is a file name creation apparatus for creating a file name of an image. The MFP selects a candidate character string which is a file name candidate having a blank as the first character thereof from character strings extracted from the image (Yes at S9). The MFP deletes the blank which is the first character of the candidate character string (S15) or changes all the characters comprising the candidate character string to other characters (S19). The MFP creates the character string corrected by the deletion or the change as a file name of the image (S17 and S19).
