摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery inspection method which can detect the fault of electrical shorting effectively. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided an inspection method for a battery comprising an electrode laminate having a cathode, a separator and an anode laminated one on top of another; a cathode terminal connected to the cathode; an anode terminal connected to the anode; and an outer packaging which includes a metal layer and a resin layer disposed on the inside of the metal layer and which encapsulates the electrode laminate and an electrolyte which are accommodated therein while having one ends of the cathode and the anode terminals projected to the outside. The inspection method includes a step where, while the electrode laminate is housed inside the outer packaging and no electrolyte is charged therein, determination is made of withstand voltage between at least one of the cathode and the anode terminals and the metal layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
