<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform nozzle shading using a CIS type scanner. <P>SOLUTION: An inkjet printing apparatus includes: a plurality of nozzles discharging ink; the CIS (Contact Image Sensor) type scanner 32 reading, as image data, charts 16 for correction printed in the ink discharged from the nozzles; light emitters 35 emitting light to the charts 16 for correction; a scanner control part 33 causing the scanner 32 to scan the charts for correction with a plurality of read conditions; a correction table preparing part 48 preparing nozzle shading correction tables on the basis of the read image data; and a shading correcting part 22 performing shading correction for the nozzles on the basis of the correction tables. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
