<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress coloration of a flare part due to mirroring of a colored light source in a camera image without decrease in picture quality in a state where no flare phenomenon occurs. <P>SOLUTION: A video processing apparatus detects a specific light source which causes the generation of a flare by performing image recognition processing on a camera image, measures the distance to the specific light source, determines whether a flare is generated in the camera image due to the specific light source on the basis of a detection result of the specific light source and the distance to the specific light source (S108), and outputs a video signal having picture quality adjusted for the camera image so as to reduce an influence of the flare due to the specific light source when it is determined that the flare due to the specific light source is generated in the camera image (S114, S122, and S126). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
