<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system, device, and method for detecting a location of a traveling object, and a computer program that enable an error range, with respect to a detection location of a traveling object, caused by movement of a traveling object to be accurately estimated. <P>SOLUTION: A system, device, and method for detecting a location of a traveling object, and a computer program are configured so that: a detection error of a vehicle speed sensor 22 for detecting a travel distance of a vehicle determines a direction causing an error with respect to a detection location of the vehicle (S41-S43); a detection error of a gyro sensor 24 for detecting an azimuth change of the vehicle determines a direction causing an error with respect to the detection location of the vehicle (S44-S46); and an error range of the detection location of the vehicle is estimated on the basis of the determined direction (S47). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
