DISK MOTOR AND ELECTRICALLY DRIVEN WORK MACHINE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk motor which improves the heat radiation efficiency and an electrically driven work machine which is equipped with the disk motor.

SOLUTION: A disk motor 3 includes: an output shaft 31; a boss part 37 integrally provided with the output shaft 31; a rotor coil substrate 36 which is coaxially fixed with the output shaft 31 and the boss part 37 and has a coil disk where a coil pattern(s) is (are) formed at one surface or both surfaces; a commutator substrate 35 which creates electrical continuity with the coil pattern and supplies a current to the coil pattern; a magnetic flux generation part facing the coil pattern; and a head housing 11 where the rotor coil substrate 36 is positioned therein and rotatably holding the output shaft 31. The disk motor 3 outputs power through rotation movements of the rotor coil substrate 36. The boss part 37 has a flange part 37B where the commutator substrate 35 and the rotor coil substrate 36 are bonded, and pillar shaped protruding parts 61 are cyclically formed at an outer periphery of the flange part 37B. The pillar shaped protruding parts 61 may improve the heat radiation effect.
