<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound reproduction device which includes a directivity control unit for controlling directivity of speakers and, when reproducing two independent sound signals, enables a user to easily hear information of one sound signal by extremely reducing a reproduction level of the other sound signal in a front position of a speaker reproducing one sound signal and properly controlling a mask signal. <P>SOLUTION: In the sound reproduction device, a directivity control unit includes a first filter circuit, a second filter circuit, a first adder, a second adder, a masking circuit for outputting a mask signal, and a peripheral noise detection circuit for outputting peripheral noise characteristics to the masking circuit and performs such control that output levels and frequency spectra of a first mask signal and a second mask signal are changed in accordance with a sound volume level and a frequency spectrum of a peripheral noise signal outputted from the peripheral noise detection circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
