<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized scanning type display device capable of achieving higher resolution. <P>SOLUTION: A scanning type display device includes: a light source section 11; scanning means 12 for scanning light beam from the light source section 11 in a first direction and/or a second direction that crosses the first direction, on a projection surface 13; and a control section 10 that controls the scanning means 12 to control light emission timing of the light source section 11 and displays an image on the projection surface 13. The scanning means 12 has: a first scanning element that performs scanning in the first direction at a first scan period; a second scanning element that performs scanning in the second direction at a second scan period shorter than the first scan period; and a third scanning element having a smaller maximum scan angle than the first scanning element which performs scanning in the first direction with a third scan period shorter than the second scan period. The control section 10 controls light emission timing of the light source section 11 in synchronization with the third scan period to draw a plurality of scanning lines in the second direction, in a single scan directing from one side to the other side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
