<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of achieving downsizing and reading a clear image. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: a photoreceptor drum 11 which is rotatably disposed and holds an image on the outer peripheral surface; a transfer drum 21 which is rotatably disposed so that the outer peripheral surface faces the outer peripheral surface of the photoreceptor drum 11 and transfers the image held by the photoreceptor drum 11 at the contact part contacting with the photoreceptor drum 11; a front end gripper 22 which rotates in synchronization with the transfer drum 21 and holds a front end portion in the conveying direction of paper conveyed to the contact part; a paper suppressing part for suppressing a rear end portion in the conveying direction of the paper held by the front end gripper 22 from floating; and an image reading part 120 for reading an image on paper in which the front end portion in the conveying direction is held by the front end gripper 22 and the rear end portion in the conveying direction is prevented from floating by the paper suppressing part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
