<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lateral bag-making filling/packaging machine having a function of clearly inspecting and monitoring the state of a packaging material in a center seal apparatus over a safety cover during machine operation, by installing an LED lighting fixture to the center seal apparatus and by lighting the LED lighting fixture. <P>SOLUTION: The center seal apparatus 6 forming a cylindrical packaging material by sealing both edge parts of a band-like packaging material includes: the safety cover 54 covering an inner center seal unit; and the LED lighting fixture 57 disposed inside the safety cover 54 and illuminating the center seal unit. The safety cover 54 includes a transparent portion 55. An operator can clearly inspect and monitor the state of the packaging material passing through the center seal unit over the transparent portion 55 from the outside of the machine in a state of being illuminated with the LED lighting fixture 57, without removing the safety cover 54 even during the operation of the lateral bag-making filling/packaging machine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
