<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water purifying device which has a high radioactive substance removing effect (decontamination effect) though it is small in size and is suitable for use in facilities of general houses, schools or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The water purifying device 1 includes a plurality of filtering units 3. Each of the filtering units 3 stores a filtering medium for filtering pollutants in liquid, change a tilting direction to a horizontal direction alternately, and are connected in a vertically multi-stage state.
