PURPOSE: A device for air conditioning in a vehicle and a method thereof are provided to be used under a variety of conditions by using or increasing the output of an ozone generator. CONSTITUTION: A device for air conditioning in a vehicle consists of a forced exhausting unit(70), a sterilizing and deodorizing unit(80), and a controlling unit(90). The forced exhausting unit forcibly exhausts the internal air of an air conditioner case to the outside of a vehicle. The sterilizing and deodorizing unit is controlled by interlocking with the forced exhausting unit for sterilizing and deodorizing inside the air conditioner case. The controlling unit operates the sterilizing and deodorizing unit to switch to a sterilizing and deodorizing mode when detecting a forced exhausting mode.
