PURPOSE: A noodle cooking device for a gas range is provided to detect the temperature of a cooking container with a temperature sensor, to make a microprocessor alarm when water in the cooking container is boiled and noodle is completely cooked, and to automatically turn off the gas range. CONSTITUTION: A noodle cooking device for a gas range comprises a gas valve(130), a valve driver(140), a temperature sensor(150), a first timer(160), a second timer(160a), a third timer(160b), a fourth timer(160c), a fifth timer(160d), and a microprocessor(170). The gas valve is installed in a gas pipe(120) supplying gas to a burner(110). The valve driver automatically locks the gas valve when a gas cutoff signal is inputted. The temperature sensor is closely attached to the underside of a cooking container to detect the temperature of the cooking container. The first timer counts a set noodle cooking time. The second timer counts a water boiling time. The third timer counts a noodle input standby time. The fourth timer counts a noodle cooking time. The fifth timer counts a noodle cooking completion time. The microprocessor starts counting the first timer if a current temperature of the cooking container is abnormal compared with a predetermined timer starting temperature.
