<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handling improved crimping tool for manufacturing a polyaxial bone anchoring device. <P>SOLUTION: The crimping tool (200) for manufacturing the polyaxial bone anchoring devices (1 and 1') includes at least one chip holder (213a and 213b) having crimping tip holders (209a and 209b) and inclined passages (216a and 216b) and an operation member (205) having at least one inclined leg part (207a and 207b).
