<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mandrel for bending work which can be pulled out of a pipe body subjected to bending without imposing load on the pipe body, and to provide a method of bending the pipe body using the mandrel. <P>SOLUTION: When respective halves of one end face 22 of a bending barrel 20 are made into concentric shape with the barrel 20 which is provided successively, the halves are formed into a parallel surface which is parallel to the opposing part of the other end surface 23 of the barrel 20 and an inclined surface. By pulling a string-like member 50 for a straight line, which is inserted into a through hole 24a on the side of the parallel surface 22a, the mandrel 1 is formed into a linear shape. In the meantime, by pulling a string-like member 60 for bending which is inserted into a through hole 24b on the side of the inclined surface 22b, the mandrel 1 is formed into a bent shape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
