<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sorting facilities capable of configuring sorting/discharging sections each having a proper-sized load storage space in accordance with an amount of loads for each sorting destination. <P>SOLUTION: The sorting facilities include: a carrying conveyor 11 in which a plurality of movable slats 13 to tilt are arranged side by side, and which is capable of conveying the loads 12 placed on the slats 13 along a conveyance path, and also, capable of sending the loads 12 from the conveyance path to the side part with the tilting movement of the slats 13; and the sorting/discharging sections 30 which are arranged at the side part of the conveyance path of the loads to receive the loads 12, which have been sent to the side part with the tilting movement of the slats 13, and sort the loads for each sorting destination.
