<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect positions of width-direction edges of printing object paper sheet at a high speed and in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: A control unit detects rough positions of both of the right and left edges 2a and 2b of the paper sheet 2 at a first interval by a first control and then senses the presence or absence of the paper sheet 2 minutely at a second interval smaller than the first by a second control, as to the span of the first interval relating to the rough positions detected by the first control. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
