<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promptly output an approximate route following a route based on present status traffic information. <P>SOLUTION: A route guidance system includes: traffic situation classification means for classifying a plurality of traffic situations based on traffic information at each hour into a plurality of traffic situation patterns; route database generation means for performing route search calculation for all combinations among a plurality of spots according to each of the plurality of traffic situation patterns, and storing all routes obtained by the route search calculation in a route database; traffic situation collation means for outputting the traffic situation pattern similar to the present status traffic information from the plurality of traffic situation patterns; and route information retrieval means for referring to the route database on the basis of the traffic situation pattern outputted by the traffic situation collation means, and retrieving and outputting a route from a departure place to a destination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
