<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict the movement of a fall-prevention device for furniture which is caused by shaking. <P>SOLUTION: The fall-prevention device 1 includes: a base 2 fixed to furniture 130 not to be displaceable; a contact part 4 brought into contact with a ceiling 110; and an adjustment part 3 for adjusting the height of the contact part 4 from the base 2.
