<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable efficient recording in a medium after optical reading of the medium without using artificial means, with regard to a medium processor with a recording unit for recording in the medium and a reading unit provided on a downstream side of the recording unit arranged on a conveyance path. <P>SOLUTION: A processing control unit 70 of a composite processor 1 is configured to: when performing recording in a medium by an ink jet head 10 after reading the medium by a backside CIS unit 48, start conveying the medium in a state that the reading is complete, in a reverse direction of a conveyance direction; and after conveying the medium in the reverse direction until at least the top of recording area in the medium is positioned on an upstream side of the ink jet head 10, perform recording by the ink jet head 10 according to a detection value of an intermediate detector 46. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
