<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration-control hydraulic damper that allows a worker to easily recognize a change in the amount of hydraulic fluid in the vibration-control hydraulic damper from the outside without looking into a through-hole of an extension member, and an oil-level monitoring method for the same. <P>SOLUTION: A hydraulic damper includes: a cylinder 42; a piston 50; oil chambers 56, 58 in the cylinder 42; an accumulator 72 provided in the piston rod 54 of the piston 50 and having an oil chamber 76 communicating with the oil chambers 56, 58; a rod-like member 82 whose amount of projection to the outside is increased/reduced according to the pressure fluctuation of the hydraulic fluid in the cylinder 42; an extension member 84 covering the accumulator 72; and an oil-level monitoring rod member 86 inserted into a through-hole 84b formed in the extension member 84. It is configured to determine the amount of hydraulic fluid of the whole damper 40 by the length dimension of the oil-level monitoring rod member 86, inserted into the extension member 84, when the oil-level monitoring rod member 86 is inserted into the through-hole 84b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
