<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-chamber type air conditioner which can keep comfortability by avoiding the protection stop of a compressor even when an indoor heat exchanger capacity (heat exchanger condenser ability) of an indoor unit to be operated is equal to or below a predetermined value. <P>SOLUTION: The multi-chamber type air conditioner has an outdoor unit 1 having a compressor 6 compressing a refrigerant and a plurality of indoor units connected to the outdoor unit 1. Each of the indoor unit includes an indoor heat exchanger carrying out the heat exchange between indoor air and the refrigerant and an indoor heat exchanger temperature detecting means detecting the temperature of the indoor heat exchanger. The revolution speed of the compressor is determined according to the temperature of the indoor heat exchanger and when the operation of a plurality of indoor units is switched to the operation of single indoor unit and the ability of the indoor heat exchanger arranged in the single indoor unit is below the predetermined ability, the threshold value of the temperature of the indoor heat exchanger by which the revolution speed of the compressor is determined is changed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
