<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking device capable of determining whether a parking location of a vehicle is a split μ road surface. <P>SOLUTION: Attachment members constituting disc brakes 21 are provided with distortion sensors 37. The distortion sensors 37 detect braking forces of the disc brakes 21 based on distortions of the attachment members. A parking-brake controller 38 compares a braking force of the disc brake 21 of a left-side rear wheel 3 with a braking force of the disc brake 21 of a left-side rear wheel 3 upon actuation of the parking brake. If there is a difference between the braking forces B of the right- and left-side rear wheels, it is determined that the right-side rear wheel 3 and the left-side rear wheel 3 are parked on a tilted road having the split μ road surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
