<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a cover glass for a portable terminal which is capable of enhancing a dimensional accuracy of a glass substrate. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the cover glass for a portable terminal, includes a resist pattern forming step which consists of a resist mask for forming a glass substrate of a shape of the cover glass for the portable terminal and a glass exposed region, and a shape formation step which forms the glass substrate of the shape of the cover glass for the portable terminal, wherein the exposed region's plate glass is etched isotropically. A corresponding relation between the thickness of the plate glass and the glass substrate dimension of the forming glass substrate is checked previously. At the pattern forming step, based on the glass plate thickness and referring to the corresponding relation, the adjusted resist pattern for the resist mask shape formed on the main surface of the glass plate is formed so as to fit the dimension of the glass substrate after the shape formation step to the requested dimension of the cover glass using for the portable terminal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
