<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic run flat tire that has achieved a high degree of riding comfort in normal driving and high run flat durability. <P>SOLUTION: In the pneumatic run flat tire, an inner side reinforcing rubber layer 10 having a falcated cross-section is disposed in a side wall portion 2. Dynamic elastic moduli of a rubber composition of the inner reinforcing rubber layer 10 at 60°C satisfy E'<SB POS="POST">10A</SB><E'<SB POS="POST">10B</SB><E'<SB POS="POST">10C</SB>and E'<SB POS="POST">10A</SB>≥4.0 MPa, and values of tanδ of the rubber composition of the inner reinforcing rubber layer at 60°C satisfy T<SB POS="POST">10A</SB><T<SB POS="POST">10B</SB><T<SB POS="POST">10C</SB>and T<SB POS="POST">10A</SB>≤0.06. Further, dynamic elastic moduli of a rubber composition of an outer side rubber layer 20 at 60°C satisfy E'<SB POS="POST">20B</SB><E'<SB POS="POST">20A</SB>≤E'<SB POS="POST">20C</SB>and E'<SB POS="POST">20C</SB>/E'<SB POS="POST">20B</SB>≥1.6.
