<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pencil exterior shaft material, particularly an exterior shaft material of a pencil type cosmetic, the material excellent in shaving property, preventing property against scattering of shavings, and rigidity. <P>SOLUTION: A propylene resin composition for a pencil exterior shaft material includes 10 to 60 pts.wt. of a propylene resin composition (β) containing 30 to 70 wt.% of the following component (A) and 70 to 30 wt.% of the following component (B) and 10 to 60 pts.wt. of a polymethylmethacrylate resin (γ) based on 100 pts.wt. of a propylene polymer (α) (where, the composition (β) is excluded). The component (A) is a propylene polymer obtained by using a metallocene catalyst and satisfying such conditions of physical properties that: (a1) the melt peak temperature (Tm) measured by a DSC method is 125 to 145°C; (a2) the content of a comonomer selected from ethylene and α-olefin having 4 or more carbon atoms is 0 to 5 wt.%; and (a3) the molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) measured by a GPC method is 1.5 to 4. The component (B) is a propylene-ethylene random copolymer having an ethylene content of 3 to 25 wt.% and obtained by using the metallocene catalyst. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
