<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide body that improves illuminance unevenness by including diffusing function parts differing in diffusion degree in a predetermined direction corresponding to light sources arranged at irregular intervals in the predetermined direction so as to have a region in which an array is rough in the predetermined direction and a region in which an array is close, and also to provide an illumination device and an image reader. <P>SOLUTION: At least one of a reflection part and a projection part makes a positive light converging action in a direction crossing the predetermined direction, and at lest one of the reflection part and the projection part has a diffusing function part in the predetermined direction. The diffusing function part has a first curved-surface array having a first diffusion degree in the predetermined direction in the region in which light sources are rough, and a second curved-surface array having a second diffusion degree less than the first diffusion degree in the predetermined direction in the region where light sources are close. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
