<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a register system for reducing the number of installed paper money deposit/withdrawal devices in comparison with a case in which the paper money deposit/withdrawal devices are installed with respect to all registers in one-to-one correspondence, and thus reducing costs of introduction. <P>SOLUTION: A register system 10 is provided with: a plurality of registers 18, 20; a paper money deposit/withdrawal device 16 for performing deposit processing and withdrawal processing of paper money; and coin deposit/withdrawal devices 12, 14 for performing deposit processing and withdrawal processing of coins. The plurality of coin deposit/withdrawal devices 12, 14 are provided in correspondence with the respective registers 18, 20.
